Sadler VCC Specifications

  • Platforms: VCC platforms are unique. They are rigid in the horizontal load carrying position yet flexible in the opposite direction. This allows them to rotate around sprockets and return vertically in minimum space. The load size dictates the platform size which dictates the structure's footprint.
  • Rates: Rates are increased/decreased by varying the number of platforms and the speed. Both have min-max limits. Minimum limits are 30 FPM (arbitrary) and 1 platform. Maximum limits are 120 FPM and 4-10 platforms.
  • Standard Models: Based on size and weight of load. VCC's assembled from pre-engineered modular components customized to suit the conditions. The closer to standard operations the more economical and faster the delivery.
  • Feed Conveyor: If the upstream conveyor cannot present one load at a time to the feed conveyor, a 2 stage speedup feed conveyor is required.
  • Tunnels: Tunnels 2'6" long for the feed conveyors are available as a safety guard.
  • Controls: Controls for the Standard VCC are for up or down travel. Reversing controls and additional field devices available as optional extra.
  • Finish: Sadler medium blue industrial machinery enamel on steam cleaned phosphated steel.
  • Installation: Each vertical conveyor is pre-wired, pre-tested and shipped completely assembled by dedicated truck. When not completely assembled at the factory, modules fit together quickly and easily . Work can be done by your crew under our supervision or entirely by Sadler's installation specialists.
